I am principally curious about the history of ideas. I am also fascinated by reciprocal patterns of thinking and behaviour — such as how our ideas shape our environment and how our environment cyclically influences our thinking in return.
In 2012, I founded the Caesura Letters, the Daily Devotion for the Curious and Contemplative. Now published and distributed via paperback, ebook, smartphone app, and daily email. This is now my full-time gig.
My blog is a catchall for ideas, footnotes, and perspectives on life. Mostly asides, short contemplations, and brief musings. Many things belong in specific categories with nicely labelled definitions… this blog is not one of those things. Subscribe.
